Welcome back to the ParTee! This week Hannah sits down screen to screen with ELLA HANSEN. Ella transitioned to Disc Golf from Ultimate Frisbee in Oregon and has already earned a sponsorship with Discmania, and a top three finish at a MAJOR EVENT (spoilers!) Ella and Hannah chat about her decision behind transitioning to disc golf, if any women from the Ultimate community have been inspired to try disc golf based on her success, what the hardest and easiest thing was about the change, and what the heck a break bucket is (and much more).
In HOT HEADLINES Hannah and Christine break down the first major of the year, the USWDGC, and all the exciting disc golf we saw at that event. They also get into if Paige Pierce needs extrinsic motivation from the field or if she is capable of turning on ‘Fierce Mode’ without it. What do you think? (Leave a comment!) Lastly they chat about all the feedback online from the professionals and what this means for the future of the sport. Is it just us or was the west coast very dramatic???
Later on CALL ME WITH CHRISTINE, the hosts answer questions about better reach-back (or reach-out) form, why it’s important for sponsored athletes to promote their own discs, and who their favorite people to compete alongside with are! Come ParTee with us!!!!
